Back in the early 80’s when I was talking about healing, I always said, “You cannot have a mental sensation without a physical response.” This is true now more than ever. Research has caught up with this premise and proven it to be true. The chemical responses we create in our bodies with our thoughts and emotions are truly stunning.
Our moment in time is right now; our thought at that exact moment…again and again, and it’s gone. A butterfly that emerges from the cocoon does not look back on its life as a caterpillar as it spreads is wings and flies. So why do we humans live in our past? Looking back never changes it. It is wasted energy. What we have to work with is only this moment in time right now. Staying in the present moment is what mindfulness is all about and where peace resides.
Since we are pure energy and vibration (physics has proven this scientifically too), it’s valuable to focus on the understanding that “what we put out, we get back.” When we send out positive energy, we receive positive energy in return. The same is true for negative energy. It’s not a punishment; it’s a Universal Law! This law is love in action for others, but also and most importantly for yourself.
Try this: thing about something positive and loving right before you go to sleep. Let your last thought of the day be of LOVE, in any form. And let your first thought in the morning be not of coffee, but a connection to your angels, guides or whomever you identify with. Say a prayer or do meditation to set the mood for the day. Also, quiet yourself during the day for just three minutes and center in your loving heart. Be silent and feel the oneness you have with GOD.
